Torsten Mayer-Rothbarth lives in Berlin and specializes in digital media and brand management. He studied visual communication at the University of the Arts in Bremen where he was an active member of COINN a new media and design research unit.

Between 1997 and 1999 he taught the fundamentals of digital media at the New Intermedia Centre within the University of Arts Bremen under the direction of Prof. Peter Rea. He was Guest Professor for graphic design in the newly established faculty for digital media. Together with Prof. Fritz Haase he established Hopper Intermedia a studio specializing in design und communication through digital media.

In 2001 he moved to Berlin where he has been employed as a specialist for interdisciplinary projects at Plex GmbH, designer for digital media at Ständige Vertretung GmbH. In 2004 he joined Meta Design GmbH as senior designer, later becoming design director for brand management in digital media. In 2008 he returned to Ständige Vertretung as an SV Associate. He will develop the online strategies of existing clients and attract new clients requiring brand management in digital media.
