Thomas Le Bas hails from the sunny region of Nelson on New Zealand’s South Island, where he was born in 1988. He completed an Honours degree in Visual Communication Design at Massey University, Wellington, between 2007 and 2010. After graduating he took on a teaching role at the university, while also working as a creative director alongside. In 2012 he boldly ventured beyond the South Pacific to live and work in Berlin.

Dedicated and earnest he is keen to make a difference with his work and is committed to delivering high-quality results. Although primarily trained as a designer based in print he also works a great deal in digital and interactive media. He believes all design, regardless of medium, can be approached through basic and proven principles. This philosophy enables him to work on a variety of project types, as well as work with a multitude of people from different backgrounds and disciplines. It is this that continually engages and challenges Thomas in a strive to exceed expectations.

In 2014 Thomas was awarded with the »Deutscher Infografikpreis« for the work »The Gutters are filled with Gold«.
